Lalín is land of artists and Art lovers. It is obvious in its streets. A good way of crossing Lalin village is discovering its sculptures. Some of them have turned into symbols of the municipality, as the dedicated one to Loriga, the aviator, or the statue of the pork.
Some of them monumental, different and discreet another ones...figuratives or abstracts, all of them have a history behind...make up your mind and come to discover it!
Monument realized in pink granite, of Montserrat's mountains in Cataluña. It consists of four pieces of different sizes and forms that once fitted form a bridge which is identified by a cubic form that exists in Andorra.
It represents likewise a Romanesque church and, at the same time, it is identified with a church constructed in Scald, in the decade of 1950. Lalin stone-cutters were employed there and just for that this brotherhood aroses. There are represented shields of both town halls Escaldes-Engordany and Lalín.
